At The Overlord Academy, we provide children aged 6 to 16 the chance to develop independence, leadership, and life skills in a safe, structured environment guided by ex-military professionals. Our cadets experience fun-filled, character-building adventures while learning crucial skills for the future.

    Cadets, especially the older ones (Pioneers and Rangers), take on leadership roles and responsibilities, setting up camps, navigating challenging terrains, and developing skills that promote self-reliance.

How Your Child’s Time Will Be Spent

  • Explorers (6-7 years)

    Engage in playful and interactive activities to expand their understanding of the outdoors. Sessions are one hour, once a week, focusing on life skills in a fun environment.

  • Patrollers (7-9 years)

    Develop deeper knowledge of communication, first aid, navigation, and resilience, all while having fun. Sessions last one hour per week.

  • Pioneers (9-11 years)

    These cadets take part in weekly meetups and expeditions. Sessions are 1.5 hours per week and culminate in overnight camps.

  • Rangers (11-16 years)

    The oldest cadets face more complex challenges, leading teams during expeditions and honing their life skills. Sessions are 1.5 hours per week, with multiple overnight camps and adventure weekends.

Outdoor Activities

Our outdoor adventures allow cadets to put their skills to the test in real-world scenarios. These activities are designed to build resilience, teamwork, and leadership through fun and challenging experiences.

  • Cadets (Pioneers and Rangers) embark on exciting expeditions in the desert, where they learn survival skills like navigating difficult terrains and setting up camps.

  • Cadets participate in realistic search and rescue exercises, learning communication techniques, teamwork, and leadership under pressure.

  • From obstacle courses to group problem-solving tasks, cadets work together to overcome challenges, building camaraderie and collaboration.

  • Rangers, in particular, get to test their endurance and resilience in mountain expeditions, preparing them for leadership roles in the future.

Indoor Activities

Alongside outdoor adventures, we offer structured indoor sessions where cadets learn critical skills in a controlled environment. These sessions take place in local schools' halls or gymnasiums, ensuring safety and comfort while fostering learning.

  • Cadets are taught essential first aid skills, enabling them to respond to emergencies confidently and responsibly.

  • We cover a variety of topics such as self-reliance, decision-making, and communication. These workshops are designed to build strong character and leadership abilities.

  • Cadets are trained in effective communication using radios, an essential part of any search and rescue mission.

  • In a traditional classroom setting, cadets learn the theory behind survival skills, leadership, and teamwork before applying them in the field.
